Women's BJJ class at Francis Jiu Jitsu

Classes

WOMEN'S ONLY

Your space to train and grow

ABOUT THIS CLASS

Our Women's Only classes provide the same high-quality BJJ instruction as every other class at Francis Jiu Jitsu, in a space designed specifically for women to train comfortably. Whether you are completely new to martial arts or have been training for years, this class is built around you.

Self-defence applications are woven into every session. You will learn how to control distance, escape bad positions, and use leverage and technique to neutralise larger, stronger opponents. These are practical skills that build real-world confidence both on and off the mats.

The environment is supportive, encouraging and completely judgement-free. Many of our members started with zero experience and discovered a passion they never expected. The friendships formed in these classes are just as valuable as the techniques.

WHAT A TYPICAL CLASS LOOKS LIKE

One hour. Three phases. All skill levels.

15 MINUTES

WARM UP

Movement drills, stretching, hip escapes and light partner exercises. The warm-up is scalable to every fitness level and designed to prepare your body for the techniques ahead.

30 MINUTES

TECHNIQUE

Self-defence fundamentals and BJJ techniques demonstrated by the coach and practised with a partner. Escapes, sweeps, submissions and positional control, all taught with practical self-defence applications in mind.

15 MINUTES
