No-Gi grappling at Francis Jiu Jitsu

Classes

NO-GI

Speed, scrambles, submissions

ABOUT THIS CLASS

No-Gi grappling strips away the kimono and puts the focus on speed, athleticism and body control. Without gi grips to rely on, you learn to use underhooks, overhooks, body locks and wrist control to dominate positions and set up submissions. The pace is faster. The scrambles are wilder. The transitions are constant.

No-Gi is heavily influenced by wrestling and is the style most commonly seen in modern submission grappling competitions and MMA. Leg locks, heel hooks and back takes feature prominently. If you enjoy a more dynamic, athletic approach to grappling, this is your class.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced grappler looking to sharpen your No-Gi game, the class is structured to challenge every level. The coach breaks down techniques step by step and ensures everyone gets quality repetitions with a training partner.
