Class

JUDO

The gentle art of throwing

About This Class

Judo is an Olympic martial art focused on throws, trips, and takedowns. You will learn to use your opponent's momentum against them, turning their strength into your advantage on the mat.

Practised in a gi (judogi), judo develops incredible balance, timing, and explosiveness. It is a discipline that sharpens both body and mind, demanding precision in every movement.

For BJJ practitioners, judo is the perfect complement to ground work. Mastering the stand-up game gives you the ability to dictate where the fight takes place, starting every roll with confidence on your feet.

What a Typical Class Looks Like

1

Warm-Up & Ukemi

15 minutes of breakfalls (ukemi), movement drills, and mat conditioning. Learning to fall safely is the foundation of everything in judo.

2

25 minutes focused on throws, grip fighting, and entries. Your coach will break down each technique step by step, then you drill with a partner at your pace.
